All approved tutors are required to complete their tutor profile (all 6 out of 6 sections). Also, please don't forget to complete the "About Me" section, upload the certificates, and upload your introduction video to our Google Drive.

Please do not just provide a link to a YouTube video. Upload the video to Google Shared Drive, and we will post it for you.

Once you've completed all required sections and your materials have been reviewed, your profile will automatically appear in the public tutor listings within 24-48 hours. Students will then be able to find you by searching for your subjects, languages, or qualifications. The six required profile sections include personal information, teaching experience, subject expertise, availability schedule, lesson pricing, and introduction video. Your introduction video is particularly important as it gives potential students their first impression of your teaching personality and communication style, so take time to create a clear, professional video that showcases your enthusiasm for teaching and explains your approach to helping students succeed.

Understanding the profile review process helps set appropriate expectations for when your listing will go live. After uploading all six sections, administrators manually review your materials to verify accuracy, check that your introduction video meets quality standards, validate your uploaded certificates, and ensure your "About Me" description provides sufficient detail about your teaching background and methodology. This quality control step maintains the platform's reputation for featuring only thoroughly vetted, professional educators. If administrators find issues with any section during review, they'll contact you via email with specific feedback about what needs to be corrected or enhanced before your profile can be published.

Your introduction video deserves special attention as it's often the deciding factor when students choose between similarly qualified teachers. The most effective introduction videos are 2-3 minutes long, filmed in a quiet, well-lit space with minimal background distractions, and demonstrate your teaching setup including any whiteboard or digital tablet you'll use during lessons. Start by introducing yourself and your teaching background, explain your teaching philosophy and approach to helping students master difficult concepts, describe the types of students you work best with, and end with an invitation for students to book a trial lesson. Upload the completed video file directly to the designated Google Drive folder - administrators will then embed it on your profile page with proper formatting and optimization for fast loading across all devices.
