The platform supports three types of payment methods:


  1. Pay with Credit Card
  2. Pay with PayPal
  3. Pay with Wallet Funds

The payment screen will display only the payment methods that are applicable, and the student cannot change these payment methods manually. For example, if there are no funds available in the student's wallet, the platform will not show "Wallet" as a payment method. Also, the "Coupon Promo Code" field may not be visible, if the student is already receiving a special discount from the teacher.

The system automatically selects the most appropriate payment options based on your account status and available balance, ensuring a secure and streamlined checkout process.

During checkout, the platform intelligently presents available payment options based on several factors including your wallet balance, any active teacher discounts, and subscription status. If you have sufficient wallet funds to cover your purchase, you'll see a checkbox option to use wallet credit, which you can select or deselect as preferred. When paying by credit card, the platform uses Stripe for secure payment processing, which supports all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. PayPal integration allows you to use your PayPal balance, linked bank accounts, or cards saved in your PayPal account.

The payment method selection is contextual rather than configurable in account settings, meaning the available options change dynamically based on each transaction's circumstances. Students with locked-in teacher pricing discounts cannot apply promotional coupon codes during checkout, as the locked pricing already provides a guaranteed discount that takes precedence over temporary promotional offers. If you need to use a specific payment method that isn't appearing at checkout, ensure your account is in good standing, check that any linked payment methods are current and not expired, and verify you're not restricted from using certain payment options due to previous payment issues or chargebacks.
