Yes, invoices can be downloaded from the Orders screen. Both tutors and students can download invoices.
Invoices are useful for tax purposes, expense reimbursement, record keeping, and accounting documentation. Each invoice includes the order number, date, items purchased, and payment details. Parents often need these invoices to submit education expense claims to their employers for reimbursement, to document homeschooling expenses for tax deductions, or to track their annual education budget. Tutors may need invoices for their business accounting records and income tax filing purposes.
Navigate to the Orders screen in your dashboard and click the small downlod icon located on the right hand side of each order card.
This action will open the order invoice in a new browser window. Screenshot below shows a sample invoice:
The order invoices can be downloaded as a pdf file to your desktop and then printed or forwarded in the email. You can download invoices for any historical order regardless of how long ago the purchase was made, giving you access to your complete transaction history for multi-year record keeping and tax preparation needs. Each invoice displays the platform's tax identification information along with transaction details, making them fully compliant documents for tax filing purposes. The invoices clearly show whether payment was made via credit card, PayPal, or wallet credit, and include itemized breakdowns of lesson packages, discounts applied, and any applicable taxes.
