Yes, there are currently three packages or "price slabs" available. Each teacher has assigned pricing for each package/price-slab. You can see the teacher's price slabs when you navigate to the teacher's details screen or if you use the purchasing dialog to buy lessons with a teacher. Each pricing slab is also configured for each subject. For example:
In the figure above, we can see that, for the "Russian Math" subject, this teacher charges $80/hour for a purchase of 1-3 lessons, $75/hour for a purchase of 4-7 lessons, and $70 for a purchase of 8-100 lessons.
Purchasing lessons in bulk offers significant savings and demonstrates commitment to your learning journey, which teachers appreciate and reward with lower per-hour rates.
The package pricing structure benefits both students and teachers by encouraging longer-term tutoring relationships that produce better learning outcomes. When you purchase the largest package (8+ lessons), you can save up to 10-15% compared to buying lessons individually, which adds up to substantial savings over an academic year. The discounted rate applies to all lessons in your purchase, and you can schedule them at your own pace over time—there's no expiration date on purchased lessons.
