To get started on the platform as a student:
1. Please sign up as a student with your email account.
2. After logging in, navigate to the "Account Settings" and set up your profile picture, phone number, country, timezone, etc. (optional)
3. Students can search for teachers or browse group classes per their requirements by entering the subject, availability, and other filter criteria.

4. After selecting the teachers, students can book a free trial session with the teacher to have a better understanding of the teacher and see if you both can work together.
5. You can also contact the teacher through our messaging service if you like. You should find the Contact button on each teacher's profile:

6. After selecting the right teacher, you can buy and book more lessons on the platform. Lessons can be booked as a single lesson or repeat lessons.
If you are still facing difficulty finding the right teacher, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, by navigating to the "Contact Us" screen at the top of the main menu.
Setting up your timezone correctly in Account Settings is particularly important for ensuring lessons display at the right times on your calendar. The platform automatically converts all lesson times from the teacher's timezone to your timezone, so accurate timezone selection prevents scheduling confusion and missed lessons. If you travel frequently or relocate, remember to update your timezone setting so your lesson schedule continues displaying correctly.
When searching for teachers, you can filter by multiple criteria including subject specialization, language spoken, availability times that match your schedule, hourly rate, and teacher qualifications or badges like "Top Tutor" or "RMT Choice." The search results show each teacher's introduction video, teaching experience, student reviews, and pricing structure, giving you comprehensive information to make an informed choice. Many students narrow their search to 3-5 teachers and then book free trial lessons with each one before committing to ongoing lessons with their preferred instructor.
The messaging system allows you to ask teachers specific questions before booking a trial lesson, such as their experience with your child's current math level, their availability for recurring weekly lessons, their teaching style or methodology, and whether they can help with specific topics like competition math or exam preparation. Most teachers respond to messages within 24 hours, and this pre-lesson communication often helps ensure a good fit before you invest time in trial lessons. After purchasing lesson packages, you can schedule lessons one at a time or set up recurring weekly lessons if you want consistent time slots with the same teacher each week.
