You can change lessons of any duration to any other duration by canceling the old lessons and purchasing new ones with the new duraiton. When repurchasing the new duration lessons, use the funds in your wallet. Note that your wallet will be credited with the amount you paid for the old duration lessons. However, if you purchased lessons with a package discount, promo code, or subscription, you may not be able to repurchase single lessons at the same discounted price.

The lesson duration change process is straightforward: navigate to your lesson cards in the Dashboard or Lessons screen, click the cancel button on each lesson you want to change, and confirm the cancellation. The full refund appears immediately in your wallet. Then visit your teacher's profile page, select the correct lesson duration from the available options, choose how many lessons you want to purchase, and during checkout make sure to check the "Wallet Credit" box to apply your refunded funds. The price difference between durations means you may need to add extra payment if the new duration costs more, or you'll have leftover wallet credit if the new duration costs less.

Understanding the pricing differences between lesson durations helps you plan the financial adjustment. Most teachers price longer lessons proportionally - for example, if a 30-minute lesson costs $20, a 45-minute lesson typically costs around $30, and a 60-minute lesson around $40. When you cancel 30-minute lessons and repurchase as 45-minute lessons, you'll need to add the difference between what you paid and what the longer duration costs. If you originally purchased in a package (like 8 lessons at a discount), be aware that your refund will be at the discounted per-lesson rate, but repurchasing may only be available at regular pricing unless you buy another package.

To minimize potential discount loss, consider whether you should repurchase the new duration lessons as a package rather than individually. If you accidentally bought 8 thirty-minute lessons but need 8 forty-five-minute lessons instead, canceling all 8 and then purchasing an 8-lesson package of the correct duration preserves any available bulk discount pricing. Contact your teacher through messaging to explain the situation - some teachers will manually adjust pricing or provide a special rate to help regular students who made an honest purchasing mistake.

The platform doesn't offer a direct "duration exchange" feature because each lesson duration represents a distinct service with its own pricing structure, and teachers set independent rates for different time lengths. Only scheduled or unscheduled lessons can be canceled - once a lesson has started or been completed, duration changes are no longer possible since the teacher has already delivered the service. If you've already scheduled the wrongly-purchased lessons with your teacher, message them first before canceling to coordinate rescheduling at the new duration so you don't lose your preferred time slots.
