No, when new lessons are created, whether via a subscription or a regular payment, they must be scheduled using the teacher's availability calendar.

Subscription lessons are purchased on a 4 week cycle. The first subscription lessons are purchased on the initial order when the subscription is made, and the next purchase is made exactly 4 weeks after the first.

Teachers should monitor the student purchased a new lesson emails and either schedule lessons, themselves, or ask the student to schedule them.

Teachers can see that the lessons were purchased with a subscription, because, the last row of the email will indicate this:

Teachers can also see the subscriptions in the Subscription screen and unscheduled lessons marked with a "Subscription" tag:

This manual scheduling requirement gives both teachers and students flexibility in coordinating lesson times based on changing schedules, exam periods, holidays, and other life events. While subscriptions automate the payment process to ensure continuous lesson credits, the actual lesson timing remains under the direct control of both parties. This approach prevents conflicts where automatically scheduled lessons might fall during vacations, school exam weeks, or other inconvenient times when the student or teacher is unavailable.

The 4-week billing cycle provides predictable recurring charges while giving families approximately one month's worth of lessons to schedule flexibly. Many students and teachers establish regular weekly time slots for their lessons, making the scheduling process quick and routine even though it's technically manual. Teachers with many subscription students often proactively reach out when new lesson credits arrive, suggesting convenient times from their availability calendar to streamline the scheduling process. Students can also pause or cancel subscriptions at any time if they need a break from lessons, providing full control over their tutoring commitment and financial obligations without being locked into automatically scheduled sessions they might need to cancel.
