If you want to go on vacation, just remove all the slots on the "Weekly Availability" calendar for the days or weeks you will be gone. This prevents new students from booking lessons during your absence while maintaining your presence on the platform. Remember to communicate your vacation schedule with your existing students well in advance so they can plan accordingly and schedule makeup lessons before or after your time away.

Note that it is not recommended to hide your profile in the teacher's list if you will only be leaving on vacation for a short time. This is because your current students will still be able to book with you using the clock button on the lesson card.

Most teachers notify their students at least 2-3 weeks before a vacation, allowing families to either complete scheduled lessons before departure or reschedule them for after the return date. You can send a message to all your students through the platform messaging system to announce your vacation dates and suggest alternative scheduling options. When removing availability slots, you can do this efficiently by selecting entire days or weeks at once rather than removing individual time slots one by one. After you return from vacation, simply add your normal availability slots back to the calendar, and the system will immediately make those times visible to students searching for teachers. Your profile rating, reviews, and student list remain completely intact during your vacation period, so you don't lose any of your established reputation or connections when you take time off.
