We have our own program called BYOM, which stands for "Build Your Own Math." We use lesson slides that the teachers upload to the whiteboard. Our Blog Section includes a downloadable e-book for each grade, which includes a syllabus and slide samples for ten lessons.

Since Russian math is quite challenging, we recommend using BYOM materials from 1-2 grades below your student's current grade level, depending on their mathematical strength and prior exposure to Russian math methodology. This approach ensures students build a strong foundation before advancing to more complex concepts and helps maintain their confidence while learning this rigorous curriculum.

The BYOM program was specifically designed to replicate the Russian mathematical education approach used in elite schools throughout Russia and Eastern Europe. Rather than following a single textbook, the program uses carefully structured lesson slides that integrate problem-solving strategies, logical reasoning, and creative mathematical thinking. Each lesson is self-contained with progressive difficulty levels, allowing teachers to adapt the pace to each student's needs. The slides include visual aids, step-by-step problem breakdowns, and practice exercises that teachers can work through interactively with students on the virtual whiteboard.

Parents and students can preview the BYOM materials before starting lessons by downloading the free sample e-books from our Blog section. Each grade-level e-book includes the complete syllabus showing all topics covered throughout the year, along with sample slides from ten different lessons so you can see the teaching methodology and problem types your child will encounter. This transparency helps families understand what to expect and allows teachers to discuss the curriculum with parents during trial lessons. While BYOM is our recommended curriculum, teachers can also work with students on other materials such as competition math preparation, school homework help, or specific textbook series if families have particular educational goals or requirements beyond the standard Russian math curriculum.
