If you cannot solve the audio/video problem, try rebooting your computer and/or using a different web browser (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome generally work best). Also, make sure your web browser is updated to the latest version.

Additionally, check that your browser has permission to access your camera and microphone, as browser security settings sometimes block these permissions by default. Disabling browser extensions or ad blockers temporarily can also resolve connection issues, and ensuring a stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth will help prevent classroom entry problems and ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Most virtual classroom access issues stem from browser permission settings. When you first try to enter a classroom, your browser should prompt you to allow camera and microphone access. If you accidentally clicked "Block" or "Deny" on this prompt, you'll need to manually reset these permissions in your browser settings. In Chrome, click the lock icon in the address bar and change camera and microphone permissions to "Allow." In Firefox and Safari, check Privacy & Security settings to grant site permissions for audio and video devices.

Browser extensions, particularly privacy tools, ad blockers, and VPN extensions, can interfere with the virtual classroom's real-time communication features. Try disabling these extensions temporarily or using an incognito/private browsing window where extensions are typically disabled by default. Internet connection stability is also crucial - the virtual classroom requires at least 3-5 Mbps upload and download speeds for smooth video and audio. If you're on WiFi, try moving closer to your router or connecting via ethernet cable for more reliable performance. Firewall and antivirus software can sometimes block the ports needed for classroom connectivity, so check those settings or temporarily disable them to test if they're causing the issue. If problems persist after trying these solutions, contact technical support with details about your browser version, operating system, and any error messages you're seeing.
