“We are incredibly grateful to have found Oscar. His expertise in competition math is outstanding, and his ability to break down complex concepts into understandable steps has made a significant impact on our son’s learning.”

— Parents of AMC 10 student who got promoted all the way to USAMO

“Rather than reciting solutions from the textbook, he guides her to solve the problem herself, gives hints along the way. When I hear her say ‘wow! that’s how it works!’ I know she is learning.”

— Parent of AMC 12 student who got promoted to AIME

“Nurtas guided every member of our national team with calm and clarity when we needed it most. He’s the coach you want before the biggest competition of your life.”

— Adilet Z., IMO Bronze Medalist

“I watched Jill transform over six months. Her AMC 12 score jumped from 80 to 105, qualifying her for AIME. But what impressed me most was how she learned to manage her time and approach hard problems systematically.”

— Davit, Jill’s Coach

Why Russian Math Method Wins at Competitions

  • 1-on-1 Socratic method coaching — your child discovers solutions, not memorizes them
  • Minimax principle: Show maximum difficulty, require minimum mastery
  • Spiral curriculum: Revisit concepts at increasing depth
  • 700+ competition students coached Across all Olympiads from MathCounts to IMO
  • World-class roster: 13 IMO medalists, 2 IMC medalists, 6+ international champions
  • Flexible scheduling: Coaches from 50 countries, 32 languages, any timezone

Live Video. Real Whiteboard. No Typing.

Most online olympiad programs are group sessions with typed chat — slow, clunky, and disconnected. We use 1-on-1 live video with an interactive whiteboard:

  • See your tutor explain problems in real time
  • Draw geometry, write equations, sketch your thinking
  • Ask questions immediately — no chat lag
  • Watch IMO medalist coaches solve problems the way mathematicians actually work

Frequently Asked Questions

What math competitions can your coaches prepare my child for?

Our coaches prepare students for the full range of math competitions: AMC 8/10/12, AIME, USAJMO, USAMO, MATHCOUNTS, MOEMS, Math Kangaroo, IMO, and international olympiads. Whether your child is just starting with AMC 8 or aiming for the US national team, we have coaches with the right experience level.

What age should my child start math competition training?

Many students begin with MOEMS or Math Kangaroo as early as 3rd or 4th grade. AMC 8 preparation typically starts in 5th–6th grade. The key is building mathematical thinking habits early — the specific competition doesn't matter as much as developing problem-solving intuition. Our coaches assess each student's level and recommend the right starting point.

How is 1-on-1 coaching different from group competition prep classes?

Group classes cover topics at a fixed pace and can't adapt to individual gaps. In a 1-on-1 session, your child's coach identifies exactly where their reasoning breaks down — maybe they're strong in algebra but weak in geometric intuition, or they understand concepts but struggle with time management. Every minute is spent on what your child specifically needs, which means faster improvement.

What results have your students achieved?

Our coaches have guided 700+ competition math students. Students have progressed from AMC 8 through to USAMO qualification. Our coach Nurtas (IMO Silver Medalist) trained members of Kazakhstan’s IMO team, including bronze and silver medalists. Coach Oscar (IMO Bronze) served as trainer for the Mexican national IMO team and has mentored students to national team selection. Results vary by student commitment and starting level, but consistent 1-on-1 coaching produces measurable score improvements within 3–6 months.
