I like to travel and akin each tutoring session to a travel experience that involves going to many different places and seeing how these places fit into the landscape. One may go to a new country and see a rainforest, a mountainland, and a valley. Within a tutoring session, a new math concept learned draws upon concepts from trigonometry, algebra, and geometry. Looking at the different sides to this new concept is then done with more engagement. This allows the student to better understand the topic while giving me a better understanding of simplifying the concept for future lessons.
