Course Details
You will learn about the Universe and everything in it, including planets, stars, galaxies, comets, and black holes.
- The basics, such as the solar system's planets. Which is the largest? The nearest/furthest from the Sun? Which planets can you see with just your eyes in the night sky?
- The differences between stars and planets, the Earth, the movement of the Sun across the sky (sunrise, sunset, east, and west), orbits, and what causes the seasons.
- Astronomical history, Moon, eclipses, asteroids, comets and meteors, galaxies, and the chemistry and life spans of the stars.
